THE STUDIO

A PLACE WHERE LOVERS OF CAKES UNITE TO LEARN, SHARE AND ENJOY THE ART OF CAKE-MAKING

The Studio is located in the beautiful neighborhood of Martinez in Buenos Aires, Argentina, surrounded by a variety of shops and restaurants. It’s location on Avenida Del Libertador, in a quiet, tree-lined residential area ensures easy access from anywhere.

With enough space to accommodate 10 students comfortably, all participants are assured a personalized experience with plenty of advice and tailored tips. Each student will be provided with all ingredients, tools, aprons and you need for completion of the course.

PROFILE

Silvia Favero




Silvia Favero studied L'Art de la Pâtisserie in the IAG, Mausi Sebess, French Pastry School of Chicago, with Osvaldo Gross, Colette Peters, Giovanna Smith and others.


Her formal education includes a degree in Computer Systems, a Master in Business Administration and Marketing and a degree in Professional Project Management (PMI certified). Following her formal education Silvia worked for 15 years in international consulting and technology as a project manager for large corporations. She also worked for a period in architecture and interior design. 


Her ever-present artistic and creative streak was inherited from her artist mother and engineer and art-loving father as well as her aunt, a pastry chef, from whom Silvia learned from an early age to make and decorate cakes. 


To create her cakes she demands her tools and ingredients be of the highest quality. This distinguishes her product from others in both aesthetics and taste. Her ingredients are often imported, ensuring the quality is on par with the best cake designers of world. 


Silvia always remains fluent in the latest international design trends, therefore able to offer clients a variety of unique creations with script, flowers, logos, drawings, patterns and textures, including a sugar creations resembling the delicate fabrics of a wedding dresses.


HER TRADEMARK STYLE IS ONE OF MODERN LINES, AND ARCHITECTURAL FORMS, CREATING CAKES THAT ARE ELEGANT, TASTEFUL AND SOPHISTICATED.


Silvia’s unwavering attention to detail is a the defining features of her cakes. Each creation is meticulously achieved by applying special techniques refined through her years of training and personal experimentation. 


Each client can be confident their creation will be a delicious fusion of creativity, artistry and classic design principles. The creative collaboration with customers and the skills and experience Silvia brings to each project ensure each cake is an ideal reflection of each client’s personal style and taste.
